It looks like we’re set to see a new addition to the Greggs menu this January. Over the past month, we’ve seen a wave of rumours sending the vegan social media into a frenzy, all surrounding the mystical image of a new steak bake label seen in a Scottish Greggs store.
A vegan shopper, named Rosie Barnett, is said to have shared the photo on the UK Vegan’s Facebook page, according to Edinburgh Live.
Since the release of the image, it has been shared on numerous Instagram and Twitter accounts and many people can’t contain their excitement. However, it seems there isn’t long to wait according to the Yorkshire Evening Post who spoke to a Greggs source.

Greggs previously created a stir on social media with the release of their vegan sausage roll, which received an overwhelming reception from the public selling out immediately. Greggs will be hoping to gain the same positive reception for their new product too. According to the leak, the all-new vegan steak bake will also be made of Quorn and cost £1.55.

It also seems that some social media users have already managed to get their hands on the new bakes.
