Get ready for a summer of indulgence as McDonald’s introduces a towering new addition to their menu – The Hat Trick Burger. This colossal creation features not one, not two, but three succulent beef patties, making it a must-try for burger enthusiasts.
Starting from May 29, the fast-food giant is not only launching this triple-layered delight, but also reviving a selection of beloved classics. Priced at £5.89 for the burger alone or £7.69 for a medium meal, The Hat Trick is set to become a fan favourite with its generous layers of cheese, grilled onions, mustard, and ketchup, all nestled within a glistening sesame seed bun.
But the excitement doesn’t end there. McDonald’s is also introducing sharing boxes perfect for group feasts. The chicken share box, priced at £10.59, includes six Chicken Selects and 12 Chicken McNuggets, complete with a variety of dips. For those who can’t get enough of their Chicken Selects, a nine-piece sharebox is available for £8.49.
Dip lovers, rejoice! The menu now features revamped versions of the classic Garlic Mayo and Sweet and Smoky BBQ sauces, joining Sweet Chilli as permanent fixtures to complement your chicken selections.
Cheese aficionados will be thrilled to hear that the iconic mozzarella bites are back, accompanied by a rich tomato dip for just £2.39.
And for dessert? Prepare your taste buds for the Skittles McFlurry and the Galaxy Chocolate and Raspberry Pie, each a sweet symphony of flavours at £1.99 and £2.19 respectively.
The Skittles McFlurry is a whimsical blend of soft ice cream, chewy Skittles fudge pieces, and colourful sugary pearls, crowned with a Skittles-flavoured sauce. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Chocolate and Raspberry Pie offers a decadent mix of smooth chocolate panache and tangy raspberry compote, all encased in a crispy chocolate pastry.
Chocolate lovers can also look forward to the return of the Galaxy Caramel McFlurry, and to complete the feast, the Iced Latte makes a comeback as a refreshing summer staple.
Amidst these mouthwatering updates, McDonald’s has refined their burger preparation techniques. The patties now receive a ‘tighter sear’ to lock in the juices, and onions are added directly onto the grill for a richer, beefier flavour. The cheese has been optimized for quicker melting, and the buns have been upgraded to glazed brioche-style with fewer sesame seeds.
These enhancements are part of McDonald’s commitment to crafting their ‘best burger’ yet. And the excitement continues with the CFO, Ian Borden, hinting at the launch of their ‘largest satiating burger’ – a tantalizing prospect for burger lovers worldwide.
Stay tuned for more updates as McDonald’s tests this new behemoth in select markets, with plans to roll it out globally once it has proven its universal appeal. This summer, McDonald’s is the place to be for burger aficionados and casual diners alike, offering a menu that promises to satisfy all your cravings.
